Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower), the world’s largest district cooling services provider and a member of IDEA, has connected 75 new buildings to its services so far this year.
The company also announced good progress towards deploying its services to many other buildings in the coming months.
“This is an important milestone for us as district cooling is an environment-friendly technology and the way forward to achieving a green economy. We’re pleased that developers have realised the importance of this technology and in the coming years, we will see more building owners and developers converting from conventional chilling methods to district cooling,” said Ahmad Bin Shafar, CEO of Empower.
