Bang for Buck: Achieving a 35 percent Reduction in Energy Use Through Low to No-Cost Optimization Measures

08-18-2017 10:00

Summary

At 5% of the floor space and 10% of the core campus’s energy use UBC’s Life Science Centre represents a significant portion of overall energy used on campus. Starting 2012 UBC’s energy conservation team began a systematic process of low cost optimizations which have led to 35% reduction in energy use. This presentation reviews the cost saving elements of the project.
