Commissioning and the Impact on District Energy at Oberlin College

06-14-2017 15:33

Summary

Oberlin College recently conducted their first re-commissioning project on campus, which included a yearlong investigation, implementation and remediation process. Selecting a firm to perform the re-commissioning effort that had extensive district energy experience was required. Holistic views of both building level and district utility level energy conservation measures was key to meeting campus energy goals. Coordinating re-commissioning work with a concurrent energy neutrality project ensured overall campus wide energy savings goals were achieved.
