This webinar is the third and final webinar in the Johnson Controls and IDEA hosted series: Optimizing Your Chiller Plant Room.  This webinar concludes the series by identifying and busting the main myths of central chiller plant optimization. 


Presenters:

  • Dave Klee, Director, Optimized Building Solutions, Johnson Controls. Dave is in his 16th year at Johnson Controls and is currently the Director of Optimized Building Solutions in North America. He started his career as a Sales Engineer with York international and was most recently Director of Channel Marketing and Strategy for HVAC Systems North America. In that role, Dave developed Johnson Controls' Central Plant Optimization (CPO) strategy and is now responsible for the successful growth and general management of those offerings. Dave graduated from the University of Michigan College of Engineering and earned his MBA at Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts. Dave is also a LEED accredited professional. 
  • Ben Erpelding P.E., C.E.M, Chief Technical Officer at Optimum Energy. Ben has more than 15 years of experience in energy efficiency, central plant optimization, and combined heat and power. He has worked on over 1000 chilled water plants throughout the United States, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.  Ben received his Master of Science, with an emphasis in Combined Heat and Power, a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering, Magna Cum Laude, from San Diego State University. Ben is a Registered Professional Mechanical Engineer in the State of California and a member of the HPAC Engineering magazine Editorial Advisory Board.
