Summary

Aging infrastructure, growing building inventory, demands for environmental sustainability and greening of the campus and increasing demands for capital in a time of a call for slowing the rise in tuition costs all impact the utility infrastructure operation. This discussion will present the results of a survey of APPA members focused on general trends around partnerships, outsourcing and insourcing operations and financial models used for the utility infrastructure systems.
