LEED Benefits of Veolia Boston-Cambridge DES

08-18-2017 11:08

Summary

Boston boasts a healthy commercial real estate market with most of the new buildings designed seek to achieve LEED Gold certification. Veolia engaged RMF Engineering to conduct a LEED survey of their CHP DES system to calculate the points available under the E&A credit. Veolia’s team discovered their system is able to provide 10 - 12 more LEED points than self perform boilers by providing 534Kwh for every MMBTU of steam used. This presentation provides an overview of the project.
