Low Temperature Thermal Networks: Domestic Hot Water Production

06-15-2017 09:55

Summary

Low temperature thermal distribution networks offer the promise of energy savings through reduced transmission losses and incorporation of lower grade heat sources. Reduced distribution network temperatures challenge system and equipment designers for solutions to domestic hot water production needs. Solutions have been developed and successfully deployed for district supply temperatures as low as 126˚F (52˚C). Applications and products for DHW production will be presented as will techniques for avoiding Legionella concerns.
