Summary

Campus power systems have various advantages when upgraded to a Microgrid topology. This presentation will review case studies on a myriad of Microgrid implementations and solutions. Implementations of Microgrids often require retrofits/additions of controls, power distribution, and distributed generation. The benefits of the retrofits/additions are solutions, applicable to campus power systems, includes energy cost optimization; increased power quality, reliability, availability; and asset optimization of distributed generation.
