Pharmaceutical Campus Embraces Change to Cut Chilled Water Cost 35% and Earn $400K Rebate

Summary

Facing simultaneous increases in cooling load and utility rates at a distributed campus, a pharmaceutical maker performed a major upgrade to the 10,000 ton central chilled water system. However, the upgrade could not affect cooling production since the plant fed critical manufacturing and laboratory facilities. This presentation provides an overview of lessons learned from the project.
