Summary

District Energy Corporation is working with Ever-Green Energy to implement an expansion of district energy services within the Lincoln, Nebraska community. Expansion and improvements of the system are slated to reduce energy costs for existing and prospective customers in the region, while increasing efficiency, reliability, and resilience. This effort also includes operational improvements, and an exploration of technology advancements, such as combined heat and power and geoexchange. The DEC leadership is working with stakeholders, including the State of Nebraska, Lancaster County, the City of Lincoln, the West Haymarket Joint Public Agency, and Lincoln Electric, making this a true public-private partnership.
