University of Virginia: Energy & Utility Master Plan and Cogeneration Study

08-15-2017 11:13

Summary

This presentation will review some of the more interesting recommendations of the University of Virginia's master plan, such as extending a new approximately 15 mile natural gas service to the University. Some of the more unique methods that were used to produce and deliver the master plan information will also be covered. For example, incorporating utility system attributes into the University’s geographic information system (GIS) to make them more of a “live tool” that the University can utilize and keep updated over time instead.
