The IDEA Northeast District Energy Summit will convene policymakers, utilities, system operators, regulators, financiers, and industry leaders for a full-day exploration of how district energy and thermal networks can accelerate decarbonization, strengthen grid reliability, and enhance affordability in the region.

Through panels and case studies, the program will examine policy and regulatory frameworks, lessons learned from pioneering projects, innovative technologies, and financing strategies that enable scalable solutions. With perspectives from legislators, utilities, campus and downtown operators, and labor and finance experts, the Summit will highlight pathways to overcome barriers and advance community-scale energy solutions across the Northeast.
