We have a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned leader to join our team as Regional Manager, West based out of our Langley, BC office.
About the opportunity
The Regional Manager, West is responsible for achieving excellence in alignment with the company’s strategic plan goals and initiatives, ensuring safe reliable operations are maintained and in compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements. This role develops and executes the improvement of operational efficiencies through implementation of new systems and processes, while maintaining relationships with clients.
Leads all utility operations in CUI Canada (West) Region, directing business operations to the efficient use of resources (capital, people, equipment, space), representing CUI with clients, stakeholders and the public and providing leadership to Area Managers and their respective teams.
Develops annual operating plans and budgets to support the achievement of strategic objectives and monitors performance against plans and budgets.
Works with the Regional Director of Operations to develop strategic objectives and initiatives, and oversees their implementation, ensuring alignment with financial goals of the region and promoting ownership of same to team members.
Oversees, understands, and ensures all operations are operated in a manner that is compliant with all applicable regulatory agencies.
Who you are
You have a Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or a related engineering degree, and a minimum or 10 years of experience in a Utility Engineering role. You also have:
- Demonstrated experience in the Implementation and or management of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Demonstrated HSE experience in a similar environment
- Eng. would be an asset

You must have a valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract and the ability to travel throughout Western Canada. You also need to be eligible to obtain a valid passport as there may be travel to the U.S. in the future, depending on the status of the COVID-19 pandemic. Some Corix office locations are currently closed and our employees are working from home. You should be comfortable with navigating technology in order to effectively participate in project and team meetings.
