The Director of Sustainability works closely with Associate Vice Chancellor of FS to develop and implement long- and short-term plans for UCB’s sustainability efforts, driving initiatives with campus-wide impact.

Responsibilities include managing professional staff, vendors, and consultants involved in various functions. The role leverages a deep understanding of UC protocols and sustainability expertise to research, develop, and implement sustainability efforts across the campus.

As the sustainability spokesperson, this role represents the University on internal and external boards, at conferences, in media interactions, and through engagement with visitors from around the world.
