Middlebury College seeks an experienced and visionary leader to serve as Associate Director, Mechanical & Utilities. This position provides strategic and operational leadership for the College's central heating and power plant, campus utility distribution systems, mechanical infrastructure, energy management programs, and utility reliability initiatives.
The Associate Director oversees the safe, reliable, efficient, and sustainable operation of critical utility systems supporting academic, residential, athletic, dining, and administrative facilities across campus. Working closely with Facilities Services leadership, this role helps shape long-term infrastructure investments, energy strategy, capital renewal planning, utility resilience, and operational excellence while advancing the College's ambitious sustainability goals.
