Microgrid Workshop

This workshop will feature experienced industry experts in the design, operation and optimization of community-scale microgrids, including integration with combined heat and power and district energy systems as core foundations. Using real-world cases, the workshop format will provide insights, best practices and implementation scenarios. The workshop will cover the flight path of a microgrid from concept to completion, including the phases of designing, permitting, building, operating and optimizing a multi-building microgrid. Participants will discuss how to plan and build a microgrid including key drivers, hurdles, and regulatory and market access issues. In addition, participants will discuss regional regulatory and policy settings and evolving market opportunities. A special panel will discuss the evolving Microgrid landscape in California.
