HOTEL ROOM BLOCK UPDATE – GAYLORD NATIONAL RESORT & CONVENTION CENTER

Due to strong demand, the IDEA Campus Energy block at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center is sold out!  While we work on possibly getting additional rooms, we strongly encourage attendees to reserve a room at one of the many hotels nearby, all within walking distance, including: 

Please note that reservations made at the hotels above are made on your own, not part of the IDEA room block.

If you are seeking a shortened stay, there may still be rooms available. When making your reservation online using the link in your registration confirmation, click on the “Show Availability” button if your room reservation search does not provide any results as this will show what length of stay is currently available in the IDEA block. 

  • If you previously made a reservation for the conference but need to add the night of Thursday, February 19th to your stay, we do have a small number of rooms available that night. You can modify your reservation online using the link in your reservation confirmation or by calling the Gaylord reservations team at (301) 965-4000 and asking them to extend your stay at the IDEA Campus Energy rate for that night.

General Hotel Information

The Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center is the venue and host hotel for the CampusEnergy2026 conference, including the conference technical program, luncheons, exhibits and trade show. The hotel is in the National Harbor area, which is just outside Washington, DC in Maryland. National Harbor offers many restaurants and hotel options within walking distance of the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center.

IDEA has secured a special room rate for Campus Energy attendees at Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center. Single/double occupancy rate is $269+tax for a standard guest room, and all reservations made in our block include free guestroom WiFi along with other resort fee amenities. This rate will be available until January 26, 2026, or until the block is full. 

Due to high demand, additional hotel rooms have been added to the IDEA Room Block. We now have plenty of rooms available at our group rate for the entire conference.

To protect our room block from being filled with guests not affiliated with the IDEA Campus Energy conference and ensure that only IDEA Campus Energy guests receive our discounted room rate, attendees will receive the IDEA reservations link in their conference registration confirmation email.

As a reminder, IDEA does not utilize a Housing Bureau for our conferences. All reservations must be made directly with each hotel. If you are contacted by someone claiming to be the Housing Bureau for IDEA Campus Energy 2026, it is a scam. Do not complete a housing form or provide them with your credit card information.
