Chris has over 40 years experience in the energy field working in a variety of positions from plant construction and commissioning, to design engineering and sales and marketing. Chris has a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island Chris is currently Manager, Strategic Growth and Special projects for Solar Turbines based in San Diego. In this job Chris is responsible for developing and promoting new markets and applications using alternative fuels. With Solar’s commitment to the development of new markets, Chris has a number of resources available, including combustion engineering, package design engineering and a host of other technical resources located within the company.
Terry Tarver
Terry has over 38 years experience in the analysis, design, service and sales of aero and gas turbine engines. He has worked in performance, engine operability and transient modelling, package controls and systems design, engine failure investigation as well as the Alaska District Service Manager for field service, commissioning and customer facing activities. Terry earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Arizona University and is currently serving as the High Hydrogen NPI Program Manager for Solar responsible for hydrogen and low carbon fuels design. In this role Terry is responsible for developing and promoting safe, sustainable, cost effective design solutions utilizing hydrogen enriched fuels.
