Summary

The potential for huge microgrid market growth is without question. However, there remains a number of frequently recurring barriers preventing a faster rate of market uptake (e.g. limited or expensive access to finance; long customer payback periods; regulatory challenges; etc.). In this presentation, I shall discuss emerging, innovative business models which are being deployed today in order to overcome some of these barriers and enable microgrid projects to succeed across different global markets.
