The WaterHub at Emory University: Moving from Feasibility to Project Execution

09-18-2017 17:25

Summary

Emory University is leading the academic world in reducing their water footprint and will be home to the largest ecological-based decentralized reuse system in the U.S. Energy’s reliance on clean water means that campus-wide water management is the most important future step for Universities aiming to protect against rising water rates, mitigate against risk associated with service interruption and attain sustainability objectives. This case study will explore how the WaterHub at Emory is the epicenter of a holistic campus master water plan and ways this parallels the energy focus that is common to campuses around the U.S.
