District Cooling is a subsidiary of Xcel Energy and provides cooling to
approximately forty buildings in downtown Denver. DDC serves a diverse group of customers
ranging from museums to data centers.
The chilled water loop has several unique features including ~75,000
ton-hrs of thermal energy storage.
