Hibbing Public Utilities is a municipal utilities company
that has proudly been serving the community of Hibbing, MN since 1894.
Over the last century of service HPU has grown to provide electric, natural
gas, water, and steam to a customer base of ~16,000. With this long past HPU is
also looking forward by investing in its future and utilizing its existing
assets. District Energy will allow these ideals to walk hand and hand as HPU
strives to provide the best, cost-effective services to its customers.
