Created Enwave Energy Corporation in 1999 through the privatization of Toronto District Heating Corporation and then led the company to sustained profitability and market leadership with the development and commercialization of Deep Lake Water Cooling. In 2012 he initiated and led the sale of Enwave to Brookfield and then served as Executive Chairman Enwave North America until the end of 2017. In 2018, he founded Noventa Energy Partners and in 2021 announced the construction of the largest wastewater energy transfer project in the world providing 19MW of thermal energy to Toronto Western Hospital.
