Dan Dixon, PE, is supervisor of interlocal projects for the Lincoln Electric System (LES) in Lincoln, Neb. In this role, he serves as project manager responsible for overseeing the business and plant operations of District Energy Corp and serves as energy manager for the Nebraska Utilities Corporation (University of Nebraska-Lincoln). For nearly twenty years, he has served LES as a project engineer managing capital projects and providing engineering support for three gas turbine power plants and four district energy plants.
Dixon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is a registered professional mechanical engineer in the state of Nebraska, and has recently joined the IDEA Board of Directors. He can be contacted at ddixon@les.com.
