Mark began his career as a hydrogeologist and geothermal specialist at the University of Arizona where he developed methods to use groundwater temperature as a natural tracer.
He spent the next 23 years in the environmental consulting industry in New England, then founded Underground Energy, LLC in 2009. His focus is on the design and implementation of Aquifer Thermal Energy Storage (ATES) and Borehole Thermal Energy Storage (BTES) projects in North America.
