This presentation will discuss the justification, history, development, execution and lessons learned associated with Clearway Community Energy Center Omaha’s (ECO) purchase of the existing Creighton University Central Utility Plant and existing steam and chilled water distribution piping, installation of a new steam and chilled water interconnection, decommissioning of most of the existing Central Utility plant and installation of new chillers at ECO’s California St. Plant in order to improve the reliability, efficiency and ESG profile of the Universities heating and cooling systems.
