A strategy to gain public acceptance of nuclear energy was derived from survey results in quantitative and qualitative formats. Survey topics include reactor type, size, and location; reactor ownership, operation, and security structure. Energy consumption topics include urban vs rural and electricity vs heat. Survey results were used to design a publicity campaign to promote agreement on nuclear as a good energy source while allowing for disagreement on how and where it is deployed - creating a healthy debate on not if, but how, this clean energy source is best deployed.
