Capital costs often represent the primary hurdle to district geothermal projects, despite the low total cost of ownership. To reduce these barriers, federal and state governments are increasingly offering grants, rebates, property-assessed clean energy (PACE) financing, and other subsidies. As a district geothermal developer, Endurant will share challenges, opportunities and lessons learned from financing projects.
