Hospital Repowering Project is an ambitious collective effort by participants from different industries to modernize the power generation facilities at three hospital sites managed by the Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation. Thirteen CHP systems will be replaced with modern, more reliable and efficient 13x 2MWe units. The goal is to protect patient care by improving efficiency, availability and resiliency in the event of climactic events, while reducing CO2 emissions by 50% and NOx emissions by 75%.
