Thermal Energy Storage - From Concept to Commissioning

08-08-2023 10:47

Session Abstract

Thermal Energy Storage (TES) systems have been successfully utilized for over four decades.  Owners find that TES systems continue to provide financial benefits long after they have paid for themselves.

This presentation will benefit both owners and engineers – it will outline the steps in the process for realizing a TES system for district cooling or heating from concept to  feasibility  to design  and implementation and commissioning.   The presentation will touch on major considerations for each step along the journey, allow the owner to understand the financial benefits of a TES system, and provide information for engineers on how to optimize the size and performance of the system.
