Jim Lodge is Vice President, Strategy & Business Development within the Business Solutions division of Clearway Energy, overseeing all of the company’s District Energy business development efforts. This includes both the growth of existing NRG district energy systems throughout the U.S. and the development and acquisition of new systems. Clearway, a Fortune 250 company is the largest independent power producer in the U.S.
Jim brings more the 30 years of experience in the energy industry, in executive management, business development, strategic planning and P&L and operations responsibilities. Prior to joining NRG Energy in 2010, as President of APS Energy Services Company, Lodge was the key principal who formed and developed Northwind Phoenix, LLC in 1998, now providing district cooling service as Clearway Energy Center Phoenix to over 12 million square feet of customer buildings in downtown Phoenix . Jim is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (Electrical Engineering) and received an MBA from Arizona State University (Finance). He serves on the Executive Committee of the International District Energy Association and is a registered Professional Engineer.
