09-14-2017 13:38

Summary

Mounting energy and water resource scarcity is pushing renewed public and private sector interest in combined heat and power. CHP applications have long been recognized for their primary energy efficiency and economic benefits, but this presentation will explore additional performance metrics related to exergy and water efficiency for CHP systems. This presentation explores the beneficial aspects of these metrics alongside conventional energy and economic analysis for historical operation of an operating CHP facility for comparison with traditional purchased utilities.
