Promote Your Session

Social Media & Web Promotion

Thank you for participating as a main program presenter at CampusEnergy2025. Here, you will find the necessary resources to help promote your session to your personal and professional networks.

Promote Your Session on Social Media

Once again, congratulations on being selected to present at CampusEnergy 2025! To help build buzz and generate awareness of both your session and the conference, we strongly encourage you to promote your participation as a presenter on social media.

Posting on both your personal and professional (work) social media channels will help you reach prospective attendees, position you as a thought-leader in the industry, and even grow your brand.

Consistently posting relevant and engaging content and contributing to industry conversations is critical to increasing awareness and educating key audiences on how your session benefits the industry. Through a groundswell of engagement and discussion, together we can raise your profile, generate awareness of the CampusEnergy conference (#CampusEnergy2025), educate followers on the benefits of district energy and drive attendance to your presentation.

Read on and as always, if you need assistance, please contact Jason Beal at jason.idea@districtenergy.org.
We've also put together a helpful guide for you with social media FAQs and how to create engaging content. It also includes much of what is included below. Download it below (after you've read the webpage).

Promote Your Presentation Early and Often

To help you promote your session visually, I have included a Social Media PowerPoint (.ppt) slide that you can edit to include your photo and session title. Once edited, you can save the file as a .png or .jpeg file and upload the image in your post.

There are 4 slides in this deck, the first and last ones are ones you can use to create your slide (always good to have an extra if you have issues), and slides 2 and 3 show you what a slide looks like

To add your photo, simply click on the “click icon to add picture” button and select your headshot.

Next, type in your session title and date speaking in the “Click to Add Text” box. The slide deck provided includes the template and examples of the slide as you go through the process. Once you have your slide designed, save that slide as a .png or .jpeg which you can then upload into social media.
I have also included Bitly (or shortened) links to direct attendees to the CampusEnergy2025 Home page, Education Schedule, Registration page, and exhibitors page (if your company is exhibiting as well).

Please note, that it is best to include these links in the 'comments' section of your post, not the post itself (allegedly the platforms don't like it when you put links to outside websites in your posts, so this is a workaround.
