Session Abstract

As the world moves towards renewable sources for power generation, it is time to turn the attention to the heat sector, which represents a large portion of our final energy consumption (50% of the total in Europe).  This presentation will show how heat pumps represent an efficient, cost effective, and emission-free solution to decarbonize the heat sector by converting renewable energy and waste heat into useful heat, helping society through the energy transition.
