Session Abstract

The implementation  of the energy districts project in Colombia experience, allows us to make an x-ray of the challenges that this infrastructure faces in integrating into policies and the market. Colombia has new challenges and commitments face COP 26 and its energy transformation policy, the energy districts can be a key piece to advance towards these goals. The progress of the project in Colombia will be presented and could highlight similar contexts and barriers in other Latin American countries. Likewise, case studies of several cities in the implementation of ED will be presented, and in particular the case of the city of Villavicencio.
