Session Abstract

This presentation will examine lessons learned during Humber College’s now five-year journey to implementing a campus-wide decarbonization initiative on its North campus. Building on a progressive vision established in its 2017 Integrated Energy Master Plan, Humber is currently finalizing the design of the largest district energy project in a Canadian college. Through an account of managing change over nearly a decade, the speakers will share key challenges and successes in addressing strategic vision, engaging stakeholders, key internal processes, and developing and procuring a campus-wide project.
