Session Abstract

We will examine the business case that formed a unique Public-Public partnership between Austin Energy and Austin Community College, resulting in Austin Energy’s first satellite plant.  Additionally, we will discuss the schedule and design challenges that led to the use and sequencing of two General Contractors building the plant.  Finally, we will explore technical concepts of the fully remote, 4.5MW demand shifting chiller plant.
