Resiliency measures to consider when upgrading a campus electrical distribution system

09-13-2023 14:01

Session Abstract

Aging electrical infrastructure is becoming a more prevalent issue as time passes, especially across ever-expanding University campuses. As new buildings are constructed, they are added onto the campus’s existing distribution system, which is often nearing, if not surpassing, its expected end of life. As electrical equipment ages, its chance of failure increases, compromising the reliability and robustness of the University’s distribution system.
