Session Abstract

CHP in industrial and commercial application has a large potential for achieving energy efficiency and emission reduction targets set by national and regional policies in Europe. The presentation will focus on the case study from an Italian cogeneration project including the main drivers, challenges, and solutions toward the decarbonization and energy efficiency improvement efforts in Europe. During the presentation, we will demonstrate the feasibility of the CHP technology via energy, fuel and emissions savings. The project will also demonstrate significant reduction of NOx and CO2 emissions.
