Session Abstract

Oberlin College will achieve carbon neutrality by 2025. With carbon-free electricity supply, this program involves integrating geothermal with new hot water and chilled water systems, along with renovation of campus buildings. Kevin Brown (Oberlin College) and Michael Ahern (Ever-Green Energy) will share how past investments in campus infrastructure were leveraged to support this transition, and steps the team has taken to mitigate the financial impact of renovating over 100 campus buildings during this transition.
