Princeton University is undergoing a substantial construction effort to move toward their ambitious sustainability goals. The effort utilizes innovative technologies such as heat pump chillers, geo-exchange wells, and thermal energy storage. The operation of these assets must be well orchestrated so that they work together in the safest and most efficient manner possible while continuing to meet campus demand. This presentation focuses on the design of the campus-wide process control system that provides that orchestration.
