Addressing Water Risks through Resource Optimization and Goal Setting

08-16-2023 10:36

Session Abstract

In an effort to advance MIT’s commitment to climate, MIT will establish a quantitative set of food, water, and waste impact goals. Developing the water goals in particular required broad stakeholder engagement across campus leadership, utilities, facilities, and others to better understand MIT’s water situationand ambitions. This session will take a deeper look at MIT’s goal development process as well as provide insights into how MIT plans to achieve its targets.
