Session Abstract

In the project Qwark³ (“District level sector coupling of heating, cooling, and electricity networks”), Vattenfall and Siemens Energy implement, demonstrate, and test the heat supply to a district heating system based on waste heat from a chiller plant and electricity from Renewable sources using a novel large scale (8 MWth) high temperature heat pump.

The presentation will give an overview on the project’s idea, status (expected to be online 2022), and technology.
