Session Abstract

Universities are taking a leading role in the pursuit of mitigating climate change through decarbonization at their campuses.  Securing renewable energy plays a large role in the sustainability road map.  GreenGasUSA will present how RNG can be used to improve an organization’s carbon footprint by highlighting a case study between Duke and a local agricultural business who partnered with GreenGas to capture methane from a wastewater process, create pipeline quality RNG, and decarbonize energy consumption.
