District Cooling Optimization at UT Health Science Center at Tyler, TX

Session Abstract

In support of their financial stewardship and environmental sustainability goals, UT Health undertook plant automation upgrades and optimization supervisory control software to drive maximum efficiency of operations, lower energy costs, reduce risk of failure.  Prior to the upgrades, it was a challenge to meet the organization’s efficiency targets. This case study will share the resulting benefits applying predictive model-based cost optimization software integrated to the plant automation system.
