Session Abstract

In partnership with Mattamy Homes and the City of Markham, Enwave is breaking new ground in developing a community-scale geo-exchange system for heating and air-conditioning over 300 single detached homes and townhouses. Working collaboratively, the teams were able to find space available in the public right of way beneath roads to install boreholes and other district infrastructure while maintaining the aesthetic design of the community and creating a new and innovative model for low-carbon communities.
