08-16-2023 15:57

Session Abstract

On the path to net zero, highly efficient CHP systems can contribute to reducing the carbon footprint in district energy applications. This presentation will provide an overview on different options to use low carbon or hydrogen fuels in CHP systems while maintaining the flexibility and reliability of dispatchable gas engine-generators. Advances in engine technology and fuel flexibility will be showcased. Global case studies will be presented highlighting operational power generation projects and best-practices for utilizing hydrogen in gas engines.
