District Energy 101
Presented by the IDEA Young Professionals Group (YPG)
Tuesday, February 20, 2024
1:00pm - 3:30 PST.
Are you just getting started in the District Energy industry? Are you a professional with less than 10 years in the field, eager to broaden your industry expertise?
If so, we have a preconference event you’ll want to attend. Join us for District Energy 101, a free workshop presented by YPG (Young Professionals Group), taking place from 1:00pm – 3:30 pm at CampusEnergy2024. In this workshop, you’ll connect and learn with others with similar experience in the industry, learning the basics behind key District Energy components to better prepare you for CampusEnergy2024 and beyond.
Joining us for District Energy101 will enhance the learning experience as you get ready to fully immerse yourself in the conference program. In DE101, topics discussed include chilled water systems, steam systems, and power generation systems. Some of these topics will be presented by our very own YPG members who are knowledgeable in their specific areas.
There will also be time to ask questions and mingle with fellow young professionals in District Energy. Come early, bring questions, and enjoy learning with fellow young professionals before the main conference kicks off! This event will be followed by our YPG Forum, where we can discuss your successes and challenges in a relaxed setting.
This session is open to anyone registered to attend the Main Conference Program who has been in the industry for 10 years or less, looking to learn about industry basics while connecting with fellow YPGers.
Following this event, please stick around for the YPG Forum, for a chance to learn about plans for 2024 and network with fellow young professionals.
