Session Abstract

University of Nebraska--Lincoln Case Study: This presentation will review some of the more interesting aspects of the application of Automatic Tube Cleaning System (ATCS) technology to the condenser of water-cooled chillers in UNL’s Central Utility Plant.  An overview of the initial trial setup, measurement & performance validation on twin 2,000-ton chillers will be presented.  Unique installation challenges from application to parallel condensers will be presented, and typical equipment installation considerations for wide-spread adoption will also be presented.
