California is leading the way for electrification and decarbonization of new facilities and existing campuses. CSU Cal Poly San Luis Obispo engaged AEI to perform utility master planning to explore the challenges of arriving at carbon friendly engineering solutions in light of plans for all electric buildings and the electrification of transportation fleets and personal vehicles. This session will address the challenges associated with PG&E and campus electrical substation capacity expansion as well as energy resiliency required as the same utility considers power outages during the fire season.
